The National Gallery of Victoria is committed to the aims and objectives of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2012 (the Act). In particular, the NGV does not tolerate improper conduct by employees, nor the taking of reprisals against those who come forward to disclose such conduct.
The NGV is not a public body to which disclosures may be made. Disclosures of improper conduct or detrimental action relating to the NGV should generally be made to the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC). Further information about making disclosures to the IBAC can be found at www.ibac.vic.gov.au.
The NGV has procedures to protect people who make such disclosures from any detrimental action in reprisal for making the disclosure, which are available from this webpage.
