Created with artist Brian Donnelly, KAWS: PLAYTIME is an interactive exhibition for children and families. The exhibition invites children to take part in multimedia activities inspired by the artist’s character BFF and notions of friendship. BFF might remind you of a cartoon character or a puppet you’ve seen on television. Do you imagine BFF has feelings like us? KAWS invites you to explore BFF’s world – make a video wearing BFF’s features and draw a friend for BFF for you to keep or share with friends.
It’s PLAYTIME!
KAWS: PLAYTIME on tour will be presented at the Mori Arts Center Gallery to coincide with the artist’s first large-scale exhibition in Japan exhibition, KAWS TOKYO FIRST. KAWS: PLAYTIME was commissioned and developed by the NGV in collaboration with KAWS.
