Incorporating ceramics, glass, metalwork, jewellery and furniture, the International Decorative Arts and Antiquities collection comprises Mediterranean and Near Eastern antiquities, British and continental decorative arts from 1200 to 1980, and North American decorative arts of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The continuum of international design history is presented collectively through the Decorative Arts and Contemporary Design collections.
