Cotton lace crochet double bedspread fashioned to fit the foot of bed. The bedspread features a large centre panel depicting a peacock standing on a balcony framed by a fruiting grapevine. The large centre panel is surrounded by fourteen cotton squares with lace crochet detailing. The bedspread features an outer ring of lace squares that alternate between peacock and grapevine motifs. Each panel on the bedspread has been individually made and then piece together with connecting crochet strips.
