- inscribed in fibre-tipped pen on mount l.l.: Elsie Warren, "past 70" / I left school when I was 15. I worked in factories, and as a shop / assistant, and doing other people's housework until I was past 50. / I joined a hydrotherapy group about six years ago. / I've got arthritis in my knees and I need to keep exercising. / I love the group. We have alot of fun. / Once your family goes it's a void for a couple of years. / I felt a bit dull and frustrated for a while, but when I joined the / group my life became much more social. / You have to make the most of your life. I do courses at the / Council of Adult Education. This year I'm doing decorative framing / and motor mechanics.
