Physical description
The four armed figure of the goddess Ganga (the Ganges River) is seated on a blue lotus on a makara (a mythical animal combining the trunk of an elephant and the body of a fish, which is the vahana or vehicle of the Goddess). The nimbate Goddess wears a sari and is adorned with silver jewellery and crown.
