Materials

The frame is made using composition ornaments on a wooden chassis, the inner scotia is covered with net. The surface is false gold throughout, including the slip.  The finish is matte with a thin dark wash.  The swept edges are formed from composition.

Frame Condition

Composition leading edges to swept sides have ‘sprung’.  Original finish throughout.
