Strasbourg bend
 
The Strasbourg bend watermark shows a fleur-de-lis above a shield with a bend (diagonal band), is named after the city Strasbourg and is also referred to as the Arms of Strasbourg. The watermark motif was in common use from the mid-15th century through to the 17th century.
Watermark and variant description
Strasbourg bend - variant D'.a.b. Shield with a double-banded bend (the arms of Strasbourg) and side scrolls, surmounted by a large fleur-de-lis. Central petal is rounded. A single band crosses the petals. No initials below the shield. Chain line through the centre of the watermark. No initials below the shield.
