Physical description
Tapestry depicting Carlo and Ubaldo, searching for Rinaldo in the beautiful garden of the enchantress, Armida, and coming upon two sirens bathing in the fountain of laughter. Carlo is holding up a shield in protection against the temptresses while Ubaldo is waving a wand over them. A feast is laid out in the background. The scene is framed by a rich decorative border in the baroque style, incorporating an escutcheon, fauns and amorini.
