Physical description
Green and white check pattern dress with a low waistline finishing in a 'V' vertical pleating through skirt. The bodice is boned with long sleeves and contrasting cream cotton broderie anglaise cuffs. Lindw ith glazed cotton or linen. Worn with a 'V'-shaped over shawl in matching fabric with green silk braid attached to outside edge in parallel rows. The skirt is also decorated with green silk fringing runing in four parallel rows down centre front to hem. Green silk braid covered buttons down centre front of skirt to hem. Bodice fastens with a metal hook and eye closure bodice. The skirt fastens with a placket and cotton tie at centre back.
