Physical description
A cotton hanging, made with nine panels decorated with alternating floral patterns which are mordant painted, painted and and resist dyed in red, black and blue. The hanging has a border of red cotton fabric edged with inner and outer bands of narrow, blue cotton fabric. There are hanging looops along the top edge. Although the floral designs are found on Indian fabrics made for export to Europe, the hanging was acquired in Indonesia and was probably made for the indonesian market.
