Physical description
The mini coat is constructed in a severe geometrical shape. The main body flares acutely from the shoulders, creating a triangle with the deep stand-up funnel collar forming the apex. The long straight sleeves are set in and the shoulders are simply shaped with two small darts, allowing the fabric to fall freely with minimum tailoring. The fabric is cut on the bias, fastening at the centre front with a heavy silver metal zipper and ring pull. The coat is of dark black/brown cotton, contrasted with bright orange cuffs and patch pockets. The pockets are shaped in a stylized 'C' shape to represent the designers logo. The coat is fully lined with black rayon acetate, woven in a repeat pattern using the designers name.
