Physical description
Parasol with metal frame and wooden shaft, covered with art silk printed with an abstract petal pattern in red on a cream ground with a deep red border. The shade is held shut with a length of pink elastic and a button/hoop fastening. The turned wood handle has a red and grey painted surface and is decorated by a multicoloured cord and tassel. The parasol tip is of turned wood, painted red.
