Physical description
Painting, hanging scroll. Naturalistically representing a 'bird and flower' theme. Two sparrows, one standing on an eccentric rock the other hanging from a stem of bamboo, face each other. Above them is rose marrow and flowering hibiscus, small flowering plants grow at the base of the rock and above it a low bamboo clump forms a canopy. A spring recedes to the right of the painting.
