Physical description
The textile hanging has several metres of pale grey chiffon printed with a black scallop pattern that merges into a complex pieced border. This section has brown velvet printed with a beige geometric design, joined to a rectangle of pale grey velvet printed with a diamond pattern and a rectangle of dark brown velvet. The entire hanging is lined with gold silk satin, printed in black with a detailed black Celtic inspired roundel pattern. The top of the hanging has a narrow slipcase for a dowel to facilitate the hanging of the work.
