Physical description
Small wheel-made vessel in red/brown slip with a lustrous surface. The body is spherical in shape with a broad, flat base. The neck is long and flares at the top into a round spout. The neck tapers to form a ridge approximately half way down the neck. The single handle is attached immediately below this ridge and to the shoulder. The decoration is comprised of matt black lines painted onto the surface. The rim and neck are painted with wide lines circling the neck. The handles exterior surface is painted black. Four fine lines encircle the upper body above which are two concentric circles at the front of the vessel.
