Physical description
Section of cartonnage containing the vignette from the CLIVth chapter of the Saite Recension of the Book of the Dead, which is entitled 'The Chapter of not letting the body perish'. The vignette, which is wanting in the Theban version, depicts the mummy of the deceased on a funeral bier with its soul (in the form of a human headed hawk) hovering above.
