Physical description
Wedding outfit comprising dress, train, headdress, shoes and lace veil. (a) Wedding dress of gold coloured metallic brocade woven with a web-like pattern. Long lace sleeves of white cotton and metallic gold coloured thread, fastened at wrists with metal hooks. Dropped waist with tight gathered detail on skirt at front hip level. Attached overskirt with pointed hem. Over-bodice and skirt decorated around neckline and hem with glass diamantes. (b) Train of matching gold brocade and metallic thread lace with hem of five points decorated with glass diamantes. (c) Veil of ivory coloured net with floral piece lace border and scattered sprays. (d) Semi circular head wreath of cream cotton velvet hand cut lilies on wire frame. (e) Floral spray head piece of cream cotton velvet hand cut lilies on wire frame. (f, g) Pair of ivory silk satin court shoes with beaded circular decorative piece on vamp.
