Le Style Parisien

Despite having a print run of just seven issues, Le style parisien was influential in establishing the city of Paris as the universal seat of fashion. It was edited by Lucien Vogel and has a similar feel to Vogel’s other significant publication, Gazette du bon ton. Le style parisien, however, was targeted towards a more middle-class audience and featured accessible styling tips and practical information for home dressmakers.
