NY: at the moment, Trent Parke – The Christmas Tree Bucket

JS: Douglas Gordon – Feature Film (1999)

What’s your favourite gig you have played to date?

By far and away, Moscow.

What inspires/influences your music the most?

Our changing selves.

What song do you wish you wrote?

NY: Seabird by Alessi Brothers
JS: Jolene by Dolly Parton

What part of making music excites you the most?

Figuring out the tracklisting of a new album.

What was your worst fashion crime?

NY: Orange terry towelling flares

JS: Chunky cyber Buffalo sneakers

What is the most unique/memorable item of clothing you own?

JS: A red woollen suit by a polish designer Anna Poniewierska. I saw an image of the suit on tumblr and became obsessed with finding it. It took me 6 months to track down. It’s the most zen outfit I own.

What would your dream stage outfit be and who would design it?

Matching white boiler suits with deep pockets by Yohji Yamamoto beneath our dream Psychic 9-5 Club bomber jackets we recently had made by Pageant.
