Gain a glimpse of Hispanic and Spanish culture through the NGV Collection. Join an NGV educator to a range of works inspired by the rich histories and stories of Spain and Latin America. This engaging introduction to Spanish art and culture will complement student learning in language, visual arts or social studies.

Students will:

  • Analyse and interpret Hispanic works of art and design from different contexts and times.
  • Reflect on how cultural and historical ideas are expressed through Hispanic art and design.
  • Consider the influence of Spanish art and culture in history and contemporary life.

Duration: 1 hour
Cost: $10.50 per student

    We require four weeks notice for all bookings.

    Changes to your booking must be made in writing. Changes can be made up to 14 days prior to your visit. Invoices will be sent prior to the visit. Full program fees will be incurred for late cancellations or amendments.

    Please provide details of any relevant themes and skills your students are learning about at school. While we cannot offer individually tailored programs, our museum educators will consider this information when selecting and discussing works of art during the program.
