Can’t make it to the gallery? Gain insights into the ideas and working methods of artists in Top Arts 2024 with an online introduction to the exhibition. Join an NGV educator for a critical discussion of artworks through the Interpretive Lenses of VCE Art Creative Practice. Help students explore the artists’ diverse sources of inspiration and thoughtful use of materials.

Students will:

  • Analyse themes, concepts and ideas in the work from Top Arts 2024 artists through the interpretive lenses.
  • Describe how Top Arts 2024 artists have explored, developed and refine their topic.
  • Discuss sources of inspiration, materials and processes used by exhibitors.

Cost: $45 per school
Duration: 45 minutes

    We require four weeks notice for all bookings.

    Changes to your booking must be made in writing. Changes can be made up to 14 days prior to your visit. Invoices will be sent prior to the visit. Full program fees will be incurred for late cancellations or amendments.

    Please provide details of any relevant themes and skills your students are learning about at school. While we cannot offer individually tailored programs, our museum educators will consider this information when selecting and discussing works of art during the program.

    We recommend you provide three date options for your program to avoid disappointment. We will do our best to accommodate your first preference, however due to high demand this may not always be possible.
