Support NGV

The NGV’s success is built on the dedicated support of our philanthropic community. An exciting opportunity has arisen to acquire a significant and rare print by Rembrandt Harmensz van Rijn. Abraham, Francen, Apothecary c. 1657 is one of a small group of prints made by Rembrandt in the late 1650s, and the addition of this etching would be a superb example of the artist’s powerful late style.

We warmly welcome contributions towards the acquisition of this remarkable work and are grateful for donations of any size. Thank you for your support.
