ARM Architecture

Founded 1988, based in Melbourne. Established by Stephen Ashton, Howard Raggatt and Ian McDougall, the architectural practice ARM is responsible for some of Australia’s most innovative buildings, such as RMIT University’s Storey Hall, 1996, Melbourne Recital Centre, 2008, and the redevelopment of Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne, 2012. For the duration of Melbourne Now, ARM will use NGV Studio at Federation Square as an incubator for urban research, inviting contributions from diverse practitioners and curating activities and events that encourage new propositions for sites in and around Melbourne.
