Brian Martin

Born 1972, Sydney, New South Wales; lives and works in Melbourne. Brian Martin, a descendant of the Muruwari, Bundjalung and Kamilaroi peoples, has been exhibiting since 1996. He held a solo exhibition, Human Status, at Koorie Heritage Trust, Melbourne, in 2007. His work was exhibited and highly commended in the Deadly Art Award at the Victorian Indigenous Art Awards, 2012. The following year he completed his PhD and held a solo exhibition at William Mora Galleries, Melbourne.
