Clare Rae

Born 1981, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. Clare Rae graduated with Honours in Fine Art from RMIT University in 2009 and is currently completing a Master of Fine Art at Monash University. Rae won the CCP/Colour Factory Award in 2009 and her work was short-listed for the 2010 Bowness Prize at the Monash Gallery of Art, Melbourne. Recent selected solo exhibitions include Light Weight, Beam Contemporary, Melbourne, 2011; VIDEOS, Beam Contemporary, 2012; and Selected Videos, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Melbourne, 2013. Recent group exhibitions include Encounters, Glen Eira City Council Gallery, Melbourne, 2012; Northern Lights, Bundoora Homestead Arts Centre, Melbourne, 2013; and Jamais Vu, Anna Pappas Gallery, Melbourne, 2013.
