Born 1962, Swan Hill, Victoria; lives and works in Culcairn, New South Wales. In 2006 Lorraine Connelly-Northey, a Waradgerie woman, participated in the Xstrata Coal Emerging Indigenous Art Award, Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane, and in Land Marks and Contemporary Commonwealth, National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne. She was included in the Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, 2008, and 17th Biennale of Sydney, 2010. In 2012 she participated in Undisclosed: 2nd National Indigenous Art Triennial, National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, and the 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane.
