Born 1970, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. David Rosetzky completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1992, and a PhD in Fine Art at Monash University in 2013. He has exhibited widely since 1990. Rosetzky was founding director of 1st Floor Artists and Writers Space, Melbourne, from 1994 to 2002. In 2013 the survey exhibition True Self: David Rosetzky Selected Works was held at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne. Recent group exhibitions include South by Southeast, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Japan, 2011, and We Used to Talk About Love, Art Gallery of New South Wales, 2013. In 2005 Rosetzky was the inaugural winner of the Art Gallery of New South Wales’s Anne Landa Award for new media artists.
