Kirsten Haydon

Born 1973, Auckland, New Zealand; lives and works in Melbourne.

Kirsten Haydon completed a certificate of Contemporary Jewellery Design and Construction, Manukau Institute of Technology, Auckland in 1994. She completed a Master of Arts, Gold and Silversmithing, in 2002 and went on to complete a PhD in Gold and Silversmithing in 2009, both at RMIT University. Recent solo exhibitions include Icescape, Jewelers’ Werk Galerie, Washington, 2012; Ice Mosaic, Objectspace, Auckland, 2012; Ice Record, The National, Christchurch, 2012; and Ice Structure, Gallery Funaki, Melbourne, 2011. Her works are held in public and private collections in Australia, New Zealand and France.
