Born 1977, Yorkshire, United Kingdom; lives and works in Melbourne since 2001. Louis Porter’s work has been exhibited in Australia, Canada, Austria, China and the United Kingdom, including multiple solo shows at the Monash Gallery of Art and Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne. In 2012 he established his own imprint Twenty Shelves, and its first publication, The Anatomy of Business, was an award-winner in the inaugural Most Beautiful Books Australia and New Zealand, 2013. Porter was recently the recipient of an International Cultural Exchange grant from Arts Victoria.
