Lousje Skala completed a Diploma of Art & Design, Gold and Silversmithing, at RMIT University in 1978, a Master of Visual Arts at Monash University in 2010 and a Master of Fine Art, also at Monash University in 2013. In 2012 she held a solo exhibition Reflective Perceptions at Fehily Contemporary, Melbourne. Recent group exhibitions include Fresh, Glen Eira City Council Gallery; and Schmuck, International Hanwerskmesse Munchen, Munich, New Editions, Gallery Funaki, Melbourne, Seams/Seems, Monash University Faculty Gallery, Melbourne, all in 2013.
