Moya McKenna

Born 1973, Guildford, United Kingdom; lives and works in Melbourne. In 1994 Moya McKenna graduated with a Diploma of Fine Art from the Institute of Technology, Sydney, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Art, Victorian College of the Arts, in 1998. McKenna has held solo exhibitions regularly since 2001. Major group exhibitions include Primavera, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, 2008; New Acquisitions 2009, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, 2009; Change, Monash University Museum of Art, Melbourne, 2010; and Model Pictures, Ian Potter Museum of Art, University of Melbourne, 2011. McKenna’s work is held in public collections including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Monash University Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Victoria.
