Born 1984 Melbourne; lives and works in Melbourne.
Nicole Polentas completed a Diploma of Arts in Product Design and Jewellery at Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE in 2003, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Gold and Silversmithing, in 2006, and a Master of Fine Arts in 2008, both at RMIT University. In 2008 she was awarded the Diana Morgan Gold and Silversmithing Prize and in 2009 received an Australian Postgraduate Award. She has been exhibiting since 2007 and recent solo exhibitions include: XA-O-S, The Hellenic Museum, Melbourne, 2010; PSYCHOMANTEUM, Gallery Loupe, New Jersey and The Collective Conundrum, Chili Art Gallery, Athens, 2013. Polentas is currently a doctoral candidate in Fine Art at RMIT University.
