NMBW Architecture Studio

NMBW was established in Melbourne by Marika Neustupny, Lucinda McLean and Nigel Bertram in 1997. The practice came to public prominence with two witty restaurant fitouts - Nudel Bar on Bourke Street and EQ previously at Hamer Hall, and their mature residential designs. Through the careful consideration of occupational use, strategic material interventions, and rigorously curated urban compositions, they have realised a body of work that epitomises what architects can do. This is nowhere more evident than in the recent project with Aspect Studio, the Box Hill Garden, an erudite combination of recreational areas, landscaping and architecture.
