Born 1962, Auckland, New Zealand; arrived in Australia 1989; lives and works in Melbourne. Patrick Pound has exhibited widely in Australia and New Zealand since the early 1980s. Exhibitions include Scrapbook Arcade, 1st Auckland Triennial, New Zealand, 2001; Cuttings: In the Forest of Images, Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne, 2008; Then and Now: The Office of Fixed Deferrals, West Space, Melbourne, 2011; and Bank Jobs, Hamish McKay Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand, 2012. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Order and Disorder: Archives and Photography, National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, 2008, and Photographer Unknown, Monash University Museum of Art, Melbourne, 2009.
