Born 1977, Brisbane, Queensland; lives and works in Melbourne. Sangeeta Sandrasegar completed a Bachelor of Fine Art in 1998, and PhD in 2004, at the Victorian College of the Arts. Recent solo exhibitions include The Scaffold Called the Motherland Spews Infinite Grace, Murray White Room, Melbourne, 2012, and Trusting That in Future More Consideration Will be Given, Mission to Seafarers Projects, Melbourne, 2012. Group exhibitions include Volume One: MCA Collection, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, 2012; The 5th Asia Pacific Triennial, Queensland Art Gallery, 2006–07; and Primavera 2004, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. Sandrasegar has held international residencies in India, Spain and Italy.
