Born 1964, Sydney, New South Wales; lives and works in Melbourne. Shane Hulbert’s solo exhibitions include Altered Landscape, 69 Smith Street Gallery, Melbourne, 2008, and Expedition, Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne, 2010. His work has been included in the group exhibitions Territories: Australian and Chinese Photography, Project Space, Melbourne, 2009, and Lumens Festival: Curating the Ancient City, Suzhou, China, 2012. He is also the program director of the Bachelor of Arts, Fine Art and Honours courses, in the School of Art at RMIT University.
