Anne-Marie May, born 1965, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. Helen Grogan studied philosophy and contemporary dance at Deakin University and City University of New York, and developed her installation-based practice at the School for New Dance Development, Amsterdam. Her work has been exhibited at Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam, CONTEXT – Platform for Contemporary Dance, Berlin, and Gertrude Contemporary, among others. Shelley Lasica has choreographed, directed and performed dance works throughout Australia and internationally since 1987. Recent exhibitions include Duelle, with Deanne Butterworth, Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne, 2009, and Something Happens, with Deborah Saxon, Lieu d’Art Contemporain, Narbonne, France, 2010. Anne-Marie May has held solo exhibitions at Michael Lett Gallery, Auckland, 2004; Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne, 2004; and Murray White Room, Melbourne, 2007, 2009 and 2011. Her work was included in Primavera, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, 1995, and in 21st Century Modern: 2006 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, Art Gallery of South Australia.
