Vicki Mason

Born 1966, Christchurch, New Zealand; lives and works in Melbourne.

Vicki Mason completed a Diploma in Craft Design (Jewellery) at Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin in 1995, and since then has completed her Master of Philosophy (Research) in Gold and Silversmith in 2011 at the Canberra School of Art, Australian National University. Mason was awarded the City of Melbourne Project Grant in 2012, and in 2010 was awarded the Arts Victoria, Arts in Schools grant. Recent solo exhibitions include Vignettes from a suburban front yard, Craft, Melbourne in 2013, and Botanical Fiction, E.G. Etal, Melbourne in 2011. Selected group exhibitions include mmmmm…., Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, Hong Kong, in 2012, touring to Sydney in 2013.
