You, me and the flock is a special commission for kids created by Juan Ford, which invites viewers to add birds to a growing flock set against a panoramic sky-scape. The addition of each bird changes the flock’s shape and movement, inviting exploration of ideas such as separation, alignment and cohesion, terms used by scientists to describe the behaviours of flocking birds but which might equally apply to human behaviours.
