Trugo–GoGo

PHOOEY is the design practice of Peter Ho and Emma Young, which specialises in sustainable architecture and interior design. Flatland OK is the moniker for Tim Fleming’s design work, which includes super-scale iconographic artefacts, jewellery, comics and illustration. Together they present Trugo–GoGo, an immersive upcycled version of Trugo, a game that, alongside AFL, is one of few sports indigenous to Melbourne. Originally developed by Newport railway workers in the 1920s, the game involved strong men with sledgehammers striking rubber donuts into a goal. Get ready to swing your mallet!
