Wired for Melbourne Sound
As a precursor to
Melbourne Now, the NGV Studio was transformed into a recording studio in which a ‘super group’ of Melbourne musicians working under the name Batman Park collaborated on writing, recording and producing an EP and accompanying music videos. The project was supplemented by an exhibition featuring documentary photography by Melbourne music photographers, a salon hang of recent vinyl cover art, and projections of film clips and live footage. Featuring Alex Badham, Pascal Babare, Jess Cornelius, Lachlan Denton, Thomas Mendelovits and Evelyn Morris, the resulting EP can be enjoyed in ambient and interstitial spaces throughout both NGV venues during
