Hanna Tai works across multiple disciplines including video, performance drawing and sculpture. With these new ‘kinetic photographs’ she examines the photograph as image, surface and object, positing that our relationship to photographs, like that with people around us, is a complex matter of legibility and obscurity, intimacy and distance, abstract depth and material thinness.
