Informed by a degree in Fine Art as well as one in Philosophy, Angela Brennan’s paintings are often recognisable for their mix of laconic philosophical musing, mischievous humour and playful abstraction. For Melbourne Now, Brennan has returned to a childhood passion for making ceramics. Taking inspiration from Bronze and Iron Age artifacts, Brennan has re-worked these antique forms with a good measure of poetic license to create an enchanting trove of funky, wonky vessels, orbs and figures.
