An ongoing collaboration since 2006 between Veronica Kent and Sean Peoples, The Telepathy Project explores notions of telepathic communication and ideas of reverie as artistic strategies. This has manifested as performances, drawings, paintings, videos and telepathically curated exhibitions. For Melbourne Now, the artists have used artworks within the NGV’s collection as creative catalysts for dreaming events. Seven artworks featuring sleeping figures have formed the basis for seven nights’ dreams, which the artists and other collaborators recount through scripts and performances.
