With less than a month until Melbourne Now, the physical fitness and stamina of the exhibition design team has reached an all time high. Relaying back and forth between NGV International and NGV Australia the team is well caffeinated and sporting safety vests.
Amongst all this fluorescent busyness, the hum of new lighting and the sheen of freshly painted walls, incredible installations have begun to appear.
Some of these humming lights and painted walls belong to the many incredible commissions of the show – see the images at the side for a little glimpse.
It’s nice to stop at these for some momentary contemplation ‘what is Melbourne Now?’……And then we run off to the next thing.
