1892

In April Monet is seeking a head gardener and in June is planning a greenhouse. Construction of the greenhouse at Giverny inhibits Monet's travels. In November the whole family keep vigil in the greenhouse overnight to ensure that the newly installed heating system is working and that the gloxinias survive. Monet visits flower shows, placing many orders for his garden.
