1925

Monet receives new glasses, but there is little improvement. Another pair, containing Zeiss lenses are tried, as well as yellow tinted lenses to correct Monet’s distorted colour perception. At the end of the year a pair of Meyrowitz glasses restores Monet’s colour vision. Monet tells Paul Helleu, "I have had a hard time with my poor eyes but at the moment I'm working".
