The inaugural NGV Gala, was held on on Saturday 26 August 2017 at NGV International to celebrate the world premiere of The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture an NGV-curated exhibition of one of the most revolutionary fashion houses in the history of couture.
Grammy Award-winning musician and style icon Kimbra headlined the entertainment in a special black-tie evening featuring art, fashion, music, fine wine and food.
Proceeds from the NGV Gala go towards supporting the NGV Fashion and Textiles Collection.
