Adam Goodrum, industrial designer and winner of the Rigg Design Prize 2015, talks about the influences behind his winning work, Unfolding. The folding houses stem from an earlier project based on temporary housing. Though this work is more conceptual in nature, Goodrum explains how it still reflects his career and continual endeavour to breathe life into his work and “create objects that have a personality or a spirit”.
